Patch Testing Policy

It is law to perform a skin patch test a minimum of 48 hours before your colouring appointment.

Once your appointment is booked, I will drop off a patch test to your house for you to do yourself and if you can fill the digital form here in preparation for our colouring appointment, so you’re all ready to go.

How to perform a patch test:

I will deliver you a kit to your door.
Allergy Test Kit includes: How to do card, allergy test record card, plastic container with pre mixed colour solution in, a cotton bud to apply & a plaster for covering after.

** ALLERGY TEST MUST BE CARRIED OUT 48 HOURS BEFORE APPOINTMENT **

• Simply take out cotton bud and plastic container with colour in and unscrew lid, be careful not to get on your hands (wear gloves, if you prefer)
• Then simply dab a small amount of the hair colour solution behind your ear or on your inner elbow and then leave it to dry.
• Record allergy test on this form here and ensure all sections for patch test are filled in and I will receive it via email as soon as you have filled out, so you will be all ready for your appointment.
• Cover area with plaster, once dry.

If you develop any irritation or feel unwell after the allergy test, do not have any colour service carried out. And seek medical advice.

Please dispose of unused product & used cotton bud safely & correctly after use.
